Binance can’t actually “block” privacy coins, they don’t have that kind of power. All they can do is stop listing it on their platform.

If folks still want these coins, they’ll just go buy or mine them elsewhere, and Binance will end up losing customers.

Also just to expand this: “will impact 12 privacy coins including Decred,
Dash, Zcash, Horizen, PIVX, Navcoin, Secret, Verge, Firo, Beam, Monero
and MobileCoin.”
